Army Sgt. Richard V. Correa died May 29 in Ilbu Falris, Iraq, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his position during a dismounted patrol. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Joseph M. Weiglein.

I spent 6 months deployed with Richie in the AF. He had an endless supply of aspirations and dreams. My heart and prayers go out to him and his family. RIP
