To your loving family:

Please think of this when the pain of loss becomes too much to bear.

I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow;

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain;

I am the gentle Autumns rain.

When you awaken in the mornings hush.

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft star that shines at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.

I am not there;

I did not die.

You will never truly be gone, because you will in hearts forever.

You are prayed for daily, and will be deeply missed eternally.

May you Rest In Peace brave soldier, until your loved ones join you in Heaven.

May God give them strength to carry on without you, but to also know you are watching over them.

Bring us, O Lord God, at our last awakening,

into the house and gate of heaven,

to enter into that gate, and dwell in that house where there shall be

no darkness nor dazzling, but one equal light;

no noise nor silence, but one equal music;

no fears nor hopes, but one equal possession;

no ends nor beginnings, but one equal eternity;

in the habitation of Thy glory and dominion,

world without end. Amen.

My sincere heartfelt condolences to Roland's family. May God give you peace in your heart and strength to carry on.
