Army Staff Sgt. Stephen J. Sutherland was killed Nov. 12 when his Stryker military vehicle accidentally rolled over in Qadisiyah, Iraq.

My best Friend called me to tell me he was going away!
But not to worry that he will be back one day!
He was more then my friend, he was like my brother
as long as I have our memories there will be no other
His wife and sons he loved and adored
Through Them his memory will never be ignored!
His family and friends will miss him so
We will go through our sorrows and our woes
But in our hearts and in our souls
Our thoughts of him will keep us Whole!
Our country he served with Honor and pride
And Now it is God that keeps him by his side!
