Army Spc. Steven E. Gutowski died Sept. 28, in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

and a part of America died. Steve, the Flag of
the United States of America has your blood
woven into the fabric and it shall proudly wave
forever in your honor. "one can only imagine
what your future would have been" I pray that
you are at peace and in a place where you
have always longed to be.
