Army Sgt. 1st Class Steven M. Langmack died May 31 of injuries sustained from enemy small-arms fire during combat operations in Qaim, Iraq.

It must be bittersweet. On the one hand your flesh & blood has been removed from your arms.
On the other hand your hearts must swell with pride at Stevens nobility & selfless offering of his life for the freedom of another.
