I know that it has been almost 10 years since this tragedy, but I also know that this loss must still be affecting his family and friends to this day. After the tragedy, I attended a ceremony at my school where we were all given names of victims to pray for. I was given Mr. McGuinness's name. I still pray for him and his family from time to time, but never actually looked for anything about him until now. This really is a very moving tribute and I hope for the best for his family and friends.

To my knowledge I knew none of the victims personally, including Thomas. This memorial is very moving and I simply chose him to stand for my sympathy to all who were lost and all who are left behind. Perhaps also because it's easy for us to forget that airline personnel were also victims of this.
