Army Spc. Tracy C. Willis died Aug. 26 in Samarra, Iraq, of wounds suffered when the enemy attacked his unit during combat operations. Also killed was Sgt. Joshua L. Morley.

I went to school with
Tracy and he was an awesome person. Always cheerful, laughing, and having the best time. My prayers go out to his family and everyone who knew Tracy as well as I did. Great athlete, great person, great friend, great everything. He died doing what he loved. But now we have an angel watching over us.
