I am an old friend of Travis from Virginia and just found out about this. This is such a huge shock to me. Travis was a bright light to so many people. Truly a good person with a good heart. Even when we were apart, he was always in my heart. I will miss him dearly. If his parents and/or family or friends read this, I hope you will please get in touch with me. I am so very sorry for your loss.
Even in his short time in Virginia, he was able to bring joy and laughter to my life as I was going through a rough time.
I hope to get in touch with his family somehow to share with you my memories of him and to keep you as an extension of family.

From what I have heard about the cousin I never met, he was one of most respectable, honorable, and courageous people that I would have ever met. To Joanne and David...Thanks for being there for me after all you had just gone through.
