A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Staff Sgt. Troy S. Ezernack died Oct. 9 of injuries sustained earlier that day when his combat patrol was attacked by enemy forces using a grenade in Qalat, Afghanistan.

Troy was a friend of mine, and a special person. He loved being a soldier, and especially a paratrooper. He died honorably, in service of
