William D Scates of Oklahoma City, OK is remembered in the Liberty Unites archive.
A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Staff Sgt. William D. Scates died Aug. 11 from wounds sustained from an improvised explosive device during combat operations in Arab Jabour, Iraq. Also killed were Sgt. Scott L. Kirkpatrick, Sgt. Andrew W. Lancaster and Spc. Justin O. Penrod.
