I traveled with Byler back to Ft. Campbell after his first tour in Mosul, Iraq. It is because of him that I am a big country music fan today. My parents had the pleasure of meeting him when they took us out to dinner. They really enjoyed his zest for life. We were all deeply saddened to learn of his passing....he is in our thoughts & prayers.
I will be sure to tell my son & daughter of the heroic sacrifices made by the men & women, like Byler, of our armed services.
